The Baker Street Babes to speak at A Scintillation of Scions in 2012

The fabulous people who run Watson's Tin Box have invited The Baker Street Babes to speak at A Scintillation of Scions V on June 9, 2012 in Laurel, Maryland (just outside DC and Baltimore). Least to say, we're VERY honoured and are very excited.

Welcome to A Scintillation of Scions! The Scintillation is an annual symposium of fans of Sherlock Holmes, Dr. Watson, and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, sponsored by Watson's Tin Box. Our event includes speakers and attendees from around the U.S., including local Sherlockians. The tradition we have established is to have at least one first-time presenter in order to offer an opportunity for them to have the experience of public speaking to a friendly crowd.

We see the Scintillation as a Sherlockian family reunion. During the day's festivities we offer many opportunities for attendees to socialize. There is a traditional English afternoon tea over which old friendships are renewed and new friendships are begun. The camaraderie and long-time friendships of Sherlockians is legendary. Please come and experience this for yourself!
